Get Out of Your Own Way!

Andy Dooley is one of my favorite online personalities.  He sends out fun artwork with spiffy poems and sayings, and is an all around positive guy.  Every now and then he really opens himself up and allows us to see his vulnerable side.  This is what makes him so human and so good at what he does.  I feel like I know where he's been.  I have seen that he can rise like a phoenix, and his stories show me that I can too.

Today's story is a fairly common one, at least in the beginning, about finding things.  The frustration of really wanting the thing, knowing it is somewhere in your dwelling, yet not being able to put your hands on it.  Andy explains how he had to really consciously drag himself out of the "I CAN'T FIND IT" funk and back up a bit, take a deep breath and feel the appreciation of having found it Before having it in his hands.

That is such a perfect example of how the Universe can work in our favor if we just get out of the way. Frustration and worry are tough on our psyche. Andy's story comes from a common place, yet has a phenomenal point.  I am so thankful for his presence.

Carry on, Andy!
