Seth Godin Thinks You're Boring

I was on this call referenced by John Jantsch in the article linked below, and yep that is exactly what he said. He didn't apologize for it or back down at all. It may be a "tough love" thing to hear, but it is also realistic. 'Plain and ordinary' don't cut it in tough times. While that might have gotten "ordinary" results before, today you'll tank if you don't give consumers what they want and need. The fun part about the call was some of the listeners participating in discussion about what was being said in Twitter chat. John pulled some of our comments for the article and that's how the title came about. Thanks to both Seth Godin and John Jantsch for an entertaining yet serious look at the natural advantages of small business during tough economic times. This was part of John's series on "Coaching Excellence".
