Shifting Conciousness - Do you feel it?

Something's happening here. Perhaps it is the theme of "change" in the political atmosphere in the United States, or perhaps it is coming from the weight of the global economic crisis. I do not know why, exactly, but I do know I feel it.

I think this is a good time to recharge, all. We need to take a breath and get ready for a myriad of new ideas. New ways of thinking, globally, as we all take time to recognize the expanding universe juxtaposed with our ever shrinking global resources. The contrast is coming to a time where we are changing our actions, our thinking, our priorities and our actions.

Many of us are already active in the process. I have been involved in the peace movement over the past 10 months and have seen the efforts absolutely catapult into new thinking across the world.

One of the newest and most innovative groups I belong to is a social network on Ning called iPeace. I have added a banner on this site to click through for a taste. There are incredibly dedicated people there from every corner of this tiny earth home. All beliefs, all views, yet we share a common thread: a strong desire for world peace and a willingness to take part in the process.

You are one person, yet as you become more involved you can really feel the effect of your input into this new space, this new evolution of consciousness into the realm of what is really possible: true peace.

Can we do it? Maybe, maybe not. The process of the quest is what drives us. The shared love for our fellow humans, for our planet, for the love of life everywhere. We are united in that, and for that we celebrate.
